Spring has sprung in San Miguel and so it is time to buy plants and seeds and everything else for the garden. What better way than to use one of the city's parks and have all the local nurseries set up stalls to sell their wares over a two week period. This is the "Feria de la Candelaria", located at Parque Juárez. Of course no market is complete without a food court. It seems that every public place had a taco stand and that is good because shopping is hungry work.
In case you have a long shopping list you can hire a porter with a wheel barrow who will follow you as you load your treasures up, and transfer the goods to your car. We browsed the market for a while, luckily our home is far away or we would have spent the bomb.
Like I said, shopping is hungry work so we stopped by our new favourite seafood restaurant and enjoyed some fish tacos and a couple of beers. Life is good.
You guys know how to travel!!! :)
